“Hello Rose Bowl Champions, your OLD coach here, letting you all know how very excited I am about the possibility of seeing all of you again on the 21st. Many years have passed, but I doubt any of us have forgotten what we accomplished together on January 1st, 1976, so let's all make a real effort to attend and be together once again. At my age, I know I won't be around for the possibility of another gathering, so I would love the chance to hug each one of you. I still love you.”
